In Weld County, the County Assessor is elected to office through the county general election. The position is a four-year term and an individual Assessor can be re-elected for up to three consecutive terms. "The constitutional duty of the County Assessor is to [discover, list], evaluate, [classify and value] all property in the County for property tax purposes."
