Weld County Commissioners

The Board of County Commissioners is made up of five elected officials. Two commissioners are elected At-Large (meaning they are voted on by the entire county), while the remaining are elected by district (Weld County is split into three County Commissioner districts). The position of County Commissioner is a four-year term, and a County Commissioner can serve up to three consecutive terms (12 years total).

Weld County Council

The Weld County Council is made up of five nonpartisan, elected officials. Two councilmembers are elected At-Large (meaning they are voted on by the entire county), while the remaining are elected by district (Weld County is split into three County Council districts). The position of County Council member is a four-year term, and a County Council member can serve up to three consecutive terms (12 years total).

Weld County Clerk & Recorder

The Weld County Clerk & Recorder is an elected official. The position of Clerk & Recorder is a four-year term, and a Clerk & Recorder can serve up to three consecutive terms (12 years total).

Weld County Sheriff

The Weld County Sheriff is an elected official. The position of Sheriff is a four-year term, and a Sheriff can serve up to three consecutive terms (12 years total).

Weld County District Attorney

The Weld County District Attorney is an elected official. The position of District Attorney is a four-year term, and a District Attorney can serve up to three consecutive terms (12 years total).

Weld County Assessor

The Weld County Assessor is an elected official. The position of Assessor is a four-year terms, and an Assessor can serve up to three consecutive terms (12 years total). 

Weld County School Boards
